Donation FAQ

The biggest question that we get when we tell people about our upcoming trip to Thailand with TRAFFIC JAM , MTV EXIT and World Orphans is, "Sweet! How do I donate?!"

Which is just awesome! The response from our fans towards this cause has been so amazing to see. You guys are rocking it! However, we still need about 12,000 more dollars to cover our travel expenses. If you are still interested in donating, we've streamlined the process quite a bit and it only takes a few clicks. If you're still on the fence, check out the link above that says "What is TRAFFIC JAM?" and the post before this one with our interview video. We figure that if each of our fans donates 5 bucks, we'll have the travel expenses wiped out in no time!

To donate, go to this World Orphans donation page, click the "Proceed" button under "Sign In as a Guest" and use the trip code "ST-7070-Sargent Avenue" in the trip code box.

Thanks again every one!

Sargent Avenue & TRAFFIC JAM Promo Video

Okay, okay, so we've been talking a lot about this Thailiand trip but maybe it still just sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown to som of you. If you really want to get hooked into to what this trip is about about and why we are doing it and why it's so important to us, please check out the amazing promo video that Storytelling Pictures put together for us.

There's a lot of really deep, personal reasons that we share as our motivation for pursing work with TRAFFIC JAM. Some of it's religious, some of it's our individual convictions, but most of it is that we know we have a responsibility - as people who have been given so much opportunity and privilege - to help other people who are oppressed, enslaved and abused. We cannot ignore this call, we cannot walk past these faces.

"We are more than just musicians; we are men who have something to stand for, something to fight for." - Jesse

Sargent Avenue closes out The One Seven

We had the priviledge of playing on Grand Rapids' FOX17 show, The One Seven, this evening! Not only did we have a blast pretending to be news anchors, but we had a great time playing for the folks at FOX17 and the west Michigan area. You can check out the video above for a clip of us playing the tune "Euphoria", which is the title track off our soon-to-be-released album.

Thanks for having us Grand Rapids, you've been swell.

Partnering with MTV + TRAFFIC JAM for Thailand!

Remember when we shared a while ago that we had some potential big news? Well, it's time to share!

We have been asked by MTV (yes, the MTV) in association with TRAFFIC JAM to play a show in Chiang Mai, Thailand on June 25th for MTV's anti-trafficking organization, MTV EXIT. They are expecting 40,000 people for this event and we are the first American band to be invited to play! A lineup will be announced shortly. MTV is going to be recording this concert and doing a documentary. Traffic Jam will also be following and doing a documentary with us for a week prior to the concert. We will be visiting children and seeing first hand the terrors of global trafficking.

Now here comes the big news: WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! We need around $20,000 to cover all travel costs and hotel costs. We ask that you consider donating to this cause. All donations are tax deductible and are going to supporting an amazing organization and event. Feel free to email us if you are interested in donating. Checks should be made out to World Orphans, with ST-707[last name of who you are donating to] in the memo line. You can also donate through TRAFFIC JAM via their Facebook Cause here.

Thank you to everyone for all of your support and love. We have felt it so much the past couple years and look forward to seeing where this thing goes!! God bless!
